Koert Stavenuiter works as an illustrator and comic artist. He made his debut in the university magazine De Cursor with 'Villa Ranzigt' and he is one of the founders of Studio Noodweer. He left the studios to work freelance. He has published in Stripnieuws, De Stripper and the employer's magazine of the software firm SAP. In April 2005, he started his weekly strip 'Rex' in the Metro newspaper.
