Spy Smasher, by Irvin Steinberg

Irvin Steinberg studied at the Cooper Union High School and the National Academy of Design in New York City. He worked in comic books during the 1940s and 1950s, mainly on Fawcett titles like 'Captain Marvel', 'Spy Smasher', and 'Hopalong Cassidy'. He worked through the Beck-Costanza Studio and as a freelancer through the Schoffman Studio. He also did various features for Fox and Spark Publications and during the 1950s he worked on Quality's 'Blackhawk', 'G.I. Combat', 'T-Man' and romance titles.
