Born in 1962 in Maribor, Romeo Strakl was introduced to comics in the early days of his youth by his father, who also draws comics. After finishing secondary school (graphic design), he has been making comics. He lives and works in Sv. Trojica, Slovenia. He is graphic designer, illustrator and comic painter. He has published in domestic fanzines and various magazines (Stripburger, Mladina - Slovenia, Striptiz - Croatia, Mladost - Yugoslavia). He also published the comic albums 'Tocno Ppolnoci in Ostale Zgodbe' in 1998 and 'Drugi album' in 2005. Strakl participated in several group exhibitions with drawings and comics, one of which was held in Celje in 1996 (comics from Slovenia from the last 40 years). He is also chosen for presenting (with some other artists) comics from Slovenia on the Angoulême comics exhibition France (2000).
