Vincent Sullivan drew 'Spike Spaulding' and 'Jibby Jones' for comic books like Detective Comics and Fun Comics in the 1930s. He was the editor of DC Comics in the 1930s, and was therefore the one who edited the first Superman story. In 1942, he did art for the newspaper strip 'Bucks McKale'. In the 1950s, he was the publisher of Magazine Enterprises.
