The League of Vampires (Forbidden Worlds #2, 1951)
Comic book artist and editor Charles Sultan began at the Eisner-Iger Studio in 1939, but was art director at Chesler between 1940 and 1953. During his period, he did art on features for several companies. At Fawcett, he drew 'Minute Man' in Master Comics, as well as 'Rick O'Shay' and 'Spy Smasher'. Sultan's Fiction House credits include 'Air Heroes', 'Clipper Kirk', 'Sky Rangers' and 'Suicide Smith'. He drew several romance features for Quality Comics in the early 1950s, as well as 'Black Condor' in the 1940s. Additional credits are National/DC's 'Johnny Quick' and ACG's 'Buffalo Belle'.
In the 1950s and 1960s he went into magazine art, working as editor for Sports Car Wheel, Peril Magazine, Pioneer West and Wild West. He was also a publisher and editor for pocket books.
