'Zampara Moruk'.
Ibrahim Tapa was born in 1950 in Biga, Turkey. After his graduation from the Savastepe teaching institute, he taught in several primary schools for a short period. In 1975, he graduated from the graphic department of the Tatbiki Güzel Sanatlar Yüksek Okulu. He worked for several magazines and newspapers such as Girgir, Firt, Politika, Adam, Gün, Günaydin and Günes. His erotic caricatures were published in international magazines like Penthouse, Bravo! and Hustler.
Tapa created the comic 'Zampara Moruk', which appeared in magazine Balli Hossaf. He joined collective exhibitions in Italy, Bulgaria, England, Canada, Japan, Belgium, Iran, Israel and Cuba. His work has won him a number of awards in competitions in Turkey, Bulgaria, Italy and Yugoslavia. Besides making comics, he was interested in calligraphic arts and designed cardboard models too. He died in 2019.
