Comic strip by Jehan Testevuide, 1910.
Jehan Testevuide was an early 20th-century French painter, comic artist and photographer. He presumably made his debut in the first years of this century, since he was featured in a book that introduced young caricaturists in 1902 ('La Pléiade des Jeunes'). Around 1910, he worked for La Semaine de Suzette, for which he drew among others 'Trop Bien Déguisés', about two mischievous little children. He also worked for Le Bon Temps. His work also appeared in La Joie des Enfants and Jeudi de la Jeunesse around 1905. He died in 1922, at age 48.
