Astro Boy
Brian Thaddeus Thomas is a US comic book artist, who has also worked under the pen names Rock Lobster and Screamin' Demons. He attended the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and began his career in the field of animation in the late 1970s. He was also a commercial artist with the Chicago Graphics and Reproduction Center.
He started drawing comics in the mid-1980s, working mainly as an inker and occasional penciller for First Publishing and Now Comics on titles like 'Dynamo Joe', 'Grimjack', 'Jon Sable', 'Astro Boy' and 'Speed Racer'. He also had short stints with Dark Horse ('The American', 'Insane!'), Eclipse ('Sergeant Strikes') and Marvel ('The Thing'). He was one of the artists of the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' for Mirage Studios in the early 1990s.
