Tom Hawk, by Leo Timmers

Leo Timmers started drawing comic strips when he was only 8 years old. At the age of 12, he published his first comic strip. After studying publicity and graphic design, he took up a job as a freelance illustrator. First he started working for children's books, later on he began doing editorial illustrations as well (a.o. for Humo, Knack, De Standaard, Menzo, De Groene Amsterdammer, Psychologie magazine). In 1989 and 1993, he illustrated two comic albums in the series 'Tom Hawks', written by Ray Appeltans.
