Francisco Tora was the author of stories and characters for the publishing house Bruguera. He was also affiliated with the Bardon Art agency in Barcelona, through which he worked for the foreign market. He was the illustrator of 'Bamse', succeeding creator Rune Andréasson in 1976, for Scandinvia until 1983. During the 1970s he drew for Rolf Kauka's Fix und Foxi in Germany.
