Warhund, by Chas Truog

Charles Truog, who also signed his work with Atlas, began his career in the early 1980s. At Charlton comics, he drew 'Warhund' and some western work. He was then present at companies like Capital ('The Badger'), Milky Way Graphics and Marvel ('Coyote' on the Epic imprint). He did most of his work for DC Comics, starting with 'Animal Man', which appeared on the Vertigo imprint from 1988 to 1991. He continued to work for Vertigo, and did 'Chiaroscuro: the Private Lives of Leonardo da Vinci' in the mid-1990s. His other DC credits include 'Doctor Fate', 'Green Lantern Corps', 'Forgotten Realms' and 'Starman'. In the 1990s, he also did work for Malibu ('Protectors'), Topps ('Jurassic Park: Raptors Attack') and Caliber ('Negative Burn').
