Pete Tumlinson worked as an artist for Marvel comic books during the 1940s and 1950s. He was a rergular on the company's crime, romance and war titles. He contributed to 'Astonishing Comics', 'Kid Colt Outlaw', 'Marvel Tales', 'Mystery Tales' and 'Strange Tales'. His work for other companies include 'Nuggets Nugent' for Orbit Publications and 'Gangsters Can't Win' for D.S. Publishing. Tumlinson left the comics field in the second half of the 1950s and focused on book illustration.
