Paul-Arthur Turcotte was the artist for various strips in connection with historical Québec. He sometimes signed Paul Turcotte or Paul-A. Turcotte. He was from the Québec City area and his strips were published in Le Soleil or L'Action Catholique in the 1950s and 1960s.
Among the titles he created were 'La Terreur Blanche' (1950), 'Champlain Père de la Nouvelle-France' (1952-53), 'Les Exploits du Général Montcalm' (1951-52), 'Les Patriotes de 1837-38' (1959-60), 'Le Chien d'or' (1960-61) and 'Les Diables Rouges' (1961).
