'Ik Zien A Geire', 2010.
Frederik van den Stock graduated with a masters degree in illustration from the Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerp in 2009. He was an intern at the advertising bureau LG&F (now called Famous) and with cartoonist Quirit. His book 'Ik Zien A Geire', an illustrated story about the city of Antwerp, got published by Mekanik Strip in 2010. The next year his 'De Preminiemen' won the Plastieken Plunk Award for Best Dutch-language Short Story and he was selected for the 'Brussels in Shorts' graphic novel project (2012). Van den Stock works as a cartoonist for De Standaard alongside of other freelance assignments.
