Custodia Compartida
Pablo Velarde Díaz-Pache is a Spanish comic artist, originally from Sevilla. He studied Architecture, but after finishing his degree he switched to comics and illustrations. He worked in New Zealand as an animator between 1991 and 1994. He has published over 1000 comic pages and cartoons to Spanish newspapers and magazines, while also illustrating over hundred children's and text books for Spanish and British publishing houses.
His first comic series was 'Quintín Lerroux', that he created between 1994 and 2008 for magazines like La Movida de Sevilla, Minimundo and El Gomeru, and in comic books by Camaleón Ediciones. 'Rafaelito Matador' first appeared in Puta Mili in 1995. He has been a regular in El Jueves since 1998, at first with the series 'Porca Miseria' and then with 'Amigas las tres' between 1998 and 2006. This series was also published in Nuevos Pendones del Humor. He also publishes his series 'Custodia Compartida' under the pen name Judas.
His solo book 'The Sinkiller' was published by Malasombre/Carmaleón, and his work has also appeared in Idiota y Diminuto and Dos Veces Breve.
