Bill Vigoda studied at the Commercial Art Studios in New York City, and served an artist for Archie Publications from the early 1940s until his death in 1973. He did scripts and art on many 'Archie' stories, and on several other features, including 'The Black Hood', 'Roy, the Super Boy', 'Wilbur', Flying Dragons', 'Dusty', 'The Shield' and 'Wizard'. Vigoda has also done advertisement art. He is the brother of Abe Vigoda, a screen, stage and television star known for series like 'Barney Miller'.
