Fidelma
Carlos Vila Vila is a Spanish artist from Galicia, who has worked on comics in many genres, including horror, western, juvenile, informatical, and erotic comics. He began his career in the alternative comic scene of the late 1970s, publishing in magazines like Hara-Kiri and El Pulgarcito. He eventually focused on erotic comics, and worked for several years for Penthouse Comix in Spain. For El Cuervo, he has created albums like 'Menage à Trois' (1990) and 'Sexopatías y Patios' (1993).
Besides his work for comics he also made illustrations for the advertising industry, and when design programs on the computer emerged he rapidly became a specialist in that field, even teaching and designing courses for working with design programs like Photoshop and Freehand. He was hired as the colorist of the comic book adaptation of the British mystery novel series 'Sister Fidelma', and became the project's artist when Josep Ferrer fell ill and passed away in 2012.
