Vincent Beaufrère, who signs with his first name, is a comic artist from Lyon. He studied at the Émile Cohl art school and began his career working in the video game industry from 1997 to 2004 (Calysto and then Doli Denki). He made his first comic pages for Aviasport magazine. Together with editor Gil Roy, he made the series 'Aviateurs', collected in book form by Cépaduès from 2007 on.
Between 2006 and 2008, Vincent made the series 'Albatross' for Glénat. In 2007 he started the series 'Aviateurs'. In 2009 and 2010 he made the diptych 'L'École Capucine' with Djian for Vents d'Ouest. His art is influenced by Régis Loisel and Bernard Yslaire.
