Brendon by Alessandro Vitti

Alessandro Vitti was born in Taranto and began his career as a co-worker of Italian comic book artist Giuseppe Palumbo in his Inventario studios. Vitti made his debut as a comic book artist in 2002, when one of his stories was published in an issue of Frigidaire. In 2004, he cooperated with Paolo Staderini on the series 'Real Crimes' for Edigold.

He contributed to some anthologies, drew a book in the series 'Serial Killer' for the French publisher Soleil (2007) and worked on the mini-series 'X-Campus' for Marvel Italia (2008). He subsequently drew a 'Nick Raider' mini-series for Edizioni If and became one of the artists of Bonelli's 'Brendon' in 2007. Since 2010, he has worked on such US titles as 'Secret Warriors' with Jonathan Hickman, 'Captain America and Hawkeye' (both Marvel) and 'Red Lanterns' (DC).

Besides comics, Vitti has done illustration assignments for publishers like Zanichelli, Paravia, Giunti, Emi, NuoviMondiMedia, and Kowalski. He became cover artist for ABC, the weekly supplement of Il Domani, in 2004. He is also a teacher with the Reggio Emilia International School of Comics.
