Joan Vives Flores has worked on a number of comics projects with scriptwriter Josep Cayuelas Mateu. They have produced alternative comix like 'Jo Mastercard, tú Jane' and 'El llegat del corb'. The latter won the Placido Award for Best Black Genre Comic at the 2005 Fecinema festival.
