Stefano Voltolini was born in 1963 in the Verona area, and lives and works in Milan. He has worked in the advertising field and has illustrated children's books. For Il Corriere dei Piccoli, he has made a series of short comic stories about mythology. He works for Il Giornalino since 1990, for which he makes the series 'Leo & Aliseo'. He has also made comic adaptations of 'E.T.' and 'Pattini d'Argento'. With writer Fabio Fenzo, he has made a comic about the life of 'Padre Pio', which has also been translated to English.
