Galaxiens, by Walt (Walter Goossens)
'Les Galaxiens'.

Walt Goossens is the son of the comic artist Gos, the creator of 'Le Scrameustache'. Walt followed his father's work with interest since his early childhood. He took courses from the Anderlecht Art School from the age of 12 and at age 16, he began assisting his father on his series. He contributed to the 'Scrameustache' stories for Spirou magazine from 1983, initially focusing on the lettering. He later also did the inking and eventually also assumed scripwriting and pencil work. While assisting his father on the long adventures of 'Le Scrameustache', Walt did comics with 'Les Galaxiens' on his own or with scriptwriter François Gilson.

Since November 2008 'La Scrameustache' has its own comic book mural in the Chaussée de Wavre 1314 / Wavrelaan 1314 in Brussels, as part of the Brussels' Comic Book Route.
