Aria, by Michel Weyland
 'Aria'.

While still studying at the Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels, Michel Weyland made his comics debut with the series 'Stereo-Land' in Tintin in 1968. He left the comic world for several years, making a living by selling apples and unloading lorries. Eventually, he got a job at a printer in Brussels. In his spare time, he further developed his drawing style. Some of his works are published in the Belgian weekly Pourquoi Pas? in 1974. He made his breakthrough in 1979, when he created his heroic fantasy series 'Aria' in Tintin. Its success grew, and from 1994, the series was featured in the Réperages collection of Dupuis. Weyland also created the science fiction fairy tale 'Yvanaëlle, la Dame de Mordorez' (1988).
