Phoebe, by Gary Whitney
'Phoebe & the Pigeon People'.

Gary Whitney was an underground comix artist. He contributed to Bizarre Sex and Dope Comix at Kitchen Sink Press, and was also present at Artie Romero's Everyman Studios. He drew the 'Phoebe & the Pigeon People' comic strip (1978-1996), written by Jay Lynch for the Chicago Reader. From 1990 on, Jim Siergey was assistant-inker.
