Dirk van de Wiel is the author of the dialogue strip '9 tot 5'. The strip runs on the Stripster portal since 2012, and is very popular on Facebook, where it appears every weekday at 9 o'clock. It is also published on a daily basis in the newspapers nrc.next (Netherlands) and De Morgen (Belgium), and a first book collection was released by De Harmonie in 2015. From 9 to 5, Van de Wiel himself is a team manager with the borough council of Amsterdam-North.
