Norman Williams was a regular artist in the back pages of the magazine Eagle, specializing in religious or historical stories. He has illustrated picture biographies of among others 'Alfred the Great', 'The Baden Powell Story', 'Life of Nelson', 'The Great Adventurer', 'Sir Walter Raleigh', and 'Marco Polo'.

Williams has additionally illustrated at least two 'Dan Dare' episodes. Norman Williams' son, Pat Williams, was also an artist for Eagle.
