Gary Wise attended the College for Creative Studies in his hometown Detroit. He has been working in the advertising world since the 1980s. In 1991, Wise teamed up with advertising counterpart Lance Aldrich to create the cartoon feature 'Real Life Adventures'. The slice-of-life newspaper comic is written by Aldrich, drawn by Wise and syndicated by Universal Uclick. Gary Wise lives and works in Michigan.
