John Woods was an artist for British comic books from the 1930s until the 1980s. His early work included various strips for Frolix (1930), 'Orchid Seekers' in Jolly Jack's Weekly (1934) and 'The Boy King' in The Boys and Girls Daily Mail (1934). He was present in the Cowboy Pictures Library in the 1950s with 'Kit Carson and the Boss of Thunder River' and in TV Comic with 'Doctor's Boy'. Woods drew 'Andy and Sandy' in Buster in 1961 and was mainly working for girls comics like Bunty and Debbie in the 1970s and 1980s, creating stories like 'Danger Doll' and 'Marsalla of the Mists'.
