'Black Metal'.
Timo Wuerz was born in Schwäbisch Hall. He made his first comic album with writer Niki Kopp in 1993, the same year he started working as a freelance artist. Wuerz and Kopp came up with a comic project titled 'XCT', published by Carlsen Comics in 1997. The follow-up of 'XCT', 'Black Metal', came out in 2001. In 2006, he published an album with 'Der Letzte Henker', one of the side characters from 'Black Metal'.
Wuerz drew a homage to Robert Crumb in the collective book 'A Tribute to Robert Crumb' (Éditions 52, 2013).
