'Kaliman'.
Leopoldo Zea Salas was one of the main artists for the Mexican superhero comic book 'Kaliman'. 'Kaliman' commenced as a radioplay scripted by Modesto Vazquez Rodriguez and Rafael Cutberto Navarro in 1963, but later became one of Mexico's leading comic books, mainly scripted by Jorge Dfaz de León, Mario de la Torre and Victor Fox.

Zea Salas penciled and inked the first issues, and also made the original cover illustrations. In later years, other artists took on the art, including Jesus Ramirez, Arturo Davila, Andres Cisneros and Cristóbal Velasco (Crisvel).
