Fábio Zimbres was born in São Paolo, Brazil in 1960. He started his comics career in 1986, when the magazine Brigitte was founded. Between 1988 and 1992 he was editor for the magazine Animal. His work has also been published in magazines such as Chiclete com Banana, Le Dernier Cri, Peek-a-boo and the newspaper Folha de São Paolo.
