In June 1996, Galerie Lambiek, in cooperation with the Haarlem Comics Festival, organized an exhibition of the Canadian publishing house Drawn & Quarterly.

The exhibition was hosted at the Haarlem town hall during the festival, and was later moved to Galerie Lambiek. On display was work by Adrian Tomine, Joe Matt, Julie Doucet, Maurice Vellekoop and Chris Oliveros.
