Dan Clowes is one of the most important comic artists today, earning his reputation on the success of his comic 'Eightball'.

In 'Eightball Beyond Fascinating!' Clowes published for the first time comics such as 'The Manly World of Lloyd Llewellyn' and 'Like a Velvet Glove Cast in Iron' - ingenious stories set in a recognizable world full of neurotic personalities that give a whole new meaning to the phrase "all too human". His famous comic 'Ghost World', which was later made into a movie, also stems from 'Eightball'.
