Comic book series : Esther's Notebooks

My name is Esther and I’m 10 years old. I told Riad Sattouf 52 really interesting and totally true stories about me (my family, my friends, my life and all that) and he made this super-realistic book with swear words and stuff because, you know, that’s how us young people talk.

Esther’s Notebooks is the first in a hilarious and heartbreaking graphic novel series that plunges us into a year in the life of a sharp, spirited and very real girl growing up in today’s world. Based on Esther’s own stories, the series will follow her life up to the age of eighteen.
