Kim Fupz Aakeson began publishing in the alternative, left-wing newspaper Københaven in the early 1980s. His work, inspired by Reiser and Wolinski, has been published in albums since 1982, and includes 'Gå løs på livet' ('Go for it'), 'Langt ud af Halsen' ('Far Out of the Throat') and 'Kys' ('Kiss'). Besides his satirical comics work, Kim Aakeson is also a playwright and an author of children's books.
