Max Aguirre Baires is scriptwriter, artist and editor, and contributor to the Grupo Belerofonte and magazines Nueva, Diagnostico and Lezama. Active since the late 1980s, Aguirre has worked for advertising agencies and publishers. He is the creator of the comic 'Jim, Jam y el Otro', which is also published in Argentina and Spain.

Another comics project by Aguirre is 'Los Resortes Simbólicos'. He has worked as art director for Black Films, Business Bureau, CM Producciones, De Sousa & Asoc., Puerto K and TR3S WG, and was the assistant of Leonardo Manco at Marvel Comics, Lucho Olivera at the publishers Columba and Record, and Marcelo Guerra.
