Miki Aihara is a female author of shôjo (girl's) manga, born in Shizuoka. She debuted with 'Lip Concious!' in Bessatsu Shôjo Comic in 1991. She went on to create popular serials like 'Hot Gimmick' (2000-05) and 'Tokyo Boys & Girls' (2003-04), which were serialized in Betsucomi. Both serials are also published in Englihs by Viz Media. Among her other serials are 'The Prince's Girlfriend', 'Secret to Parents' and 'Girls, be ambitious'.
