Alice Kok, who signs her work simply with her first name, studied Medical Biology at the Free University Amsterdam, but works as an illustrator and comic artist. She published her first work in Maaike Hartjes' Old Cake Comix, Comix By Women. She was one of the founders and main contributors of the online Cutie e-zine, together with Tommy A., Flo and Rayman.
She has published her work in Bobo, Zone 5300 and Scouty and contributed to 'Bloeddorst' and Lowlands Comix. She also produced comics and illustrations for Scouting Netherlands, Orange Cross and VU Medical Center. Alice has illustrated a series of children's books for Hema and buggy and bathing books for Image Books.
