Alex Alice is a French comic artist, best known for the comic series 'Le Troisième Testament' and 'Siegfried'. He is a graduate from the École Supérieure de Commerce in Paris, who published his first drawings in the Casus Belli review. In 1997, he teamed up with scriptwriter Xavier Dorison, with whom he created 'Le Troisième Testament' for Éditions Glénat. The first cycle of this historical series ended after four books in 2003. At the same time, Alice also wrote an adaptation of the 'Tomb Raider: Dark Aeons' game for artist Patrick Fréon in 1999.
Alice and Dorison resumed 'Le Troisième Testament' in 2010 with a new cycle called 'Julius', for which they write the scripts together, while Robin Recht provides the artwork. Alice additionally started his own series, 'Siegfried', based on Wagner's opera, in 2007, while also pursuing commercial assignments like cover and poster illustrations, concept art and animation projects.
