Serkan Altuniğne was born in Istanbul in 1977. After leaving the city for educational and personal reasons, he came back in 1998. In 2000, he started his career with the daily comic strip 'Site Bocugu' ('Site Bug'). Serkan Altunigne is now drawing comics strips for weekly comic magazine Penguen ('Amator Serkan'), and for the monthly Kemik magazine ('Director's Cut').
