Angeles Felices Bancina is a Catalan artist who has worked mainly on romantic stories through publisher Bruguera's agency Creaciones Editoriales. She was born in Zaragoza and studied at the School of Arts and Crafts before taking classes from painter Alejandro Cañada at the academy. She made her first comics work for the French market, but she has mainly drawn stories for publishers like IPC in the UK and Oberon in the Netherlands. She was a regular contributor to Dutch girl's magazine Tina for a long period, spanning from the 1980s until the late 2000s. She drew series like 'De Doebidoes', 'Het huishouden van Janneke Steen', 'Madelon' from scripts by Patty Klein.
Her work for the UK magazine Tammy includes independent stories like 'Dancer Entranced', 'Mask of Melissa' and 'Guitar Girl'. These stories have also appeared in Tina. In her home country Spain, Angeles' Tina comics were published in magazine Jana in the early 1980s. She was also the illustrator of the Spanish editions of the 'Dana Girls' mystery novels. She is married to Spanish painter Hermogenes Pardos, and has exhibited her own landscape paintings as well. She lives and works in Madrid since 1986.
