Mark van den Anker created the comic strip 'Vinnie en Matthijs' with his high school friend Michael Eitjes. The strip ran on a weekly basis in Alkmaars Weekblad from 2004, and also appeared on the online comics portal Stripster. The duo launched an ebook with their comics strips in 2008. Van den Anker and Eitjes have additionally created the comic book 'MIMZZZ' for the Media & Information Management factulty of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
