Born in Rome, Pino Antonelli began his career in comics working for Edifumetto in Milan for several years. He cooperated with many of the famous erotic publications of the 1970s, such as Lando, Zora, Playcolt and Horror. During the same period, he wrote and illustrated stories in the series 'Realta' Nera' and several stories for other clients, like the Giolitti agency. For Blue Press in Rome, he has written and drawn a large amount of comical/erotic adventure comics.
Since 1980, he has alternated his work as a comic artist with working as a photographer specialized in audiovisuals. In the 1990s, he focused on multimedia techniques and computer graphics, and wrote a lot of scripts for the Universo publishing house. From 1995, he publishes 'Storie a Strisce', a panel about photography conceived with mixed techniques, in the professional review FotoGraphia.
