'Fantomen'.
Heiner Bade was born in Germany, but lives and works in Sweden as an artist for the 'Fantomen' series. Bade attended the Art School since the age of 17, and began his career drawing cartoons for local papers in Germany, and later Neue Revue magazine. In the 1970s, he moved to Sweden, where he worked for comic magazines Poäng and En Rolig Halvtimme. In 1974, he began a collaboration with Semic Press, making 'Gengångaren' for Serie-Magasinet, followed by a long career as a main artist on the series 'Fantomen' ('The Phantom').
