'Het Betoverde Bos'.

Greta Badenhuizen, born in 1914 in Koog aan de Zaan, is known for her famous fairy tale 'Het Betoverde Bos' ('The Enchanted Forest'). This enthralling story, which appeared in 1938, captured the hearts of many children of this generation. Between 1944 and 1947, Greta Badenhuizen wrote several other fairy tales, all illustrated by other artists.
