O Capital de Marx em Banda Desenhada
Carlos Barradas Teixeira is a Portuguese illustrator and comic artist. Born in Lisbon, he holds a degree in Communication Design from the School of Fine Arts in Lisbon, and a master's degree in Design and Visual Culture from IADE. He collaborated with the comic magazines Visão between April 1975 and May 1976, for which he made comics like 'Clave sem Sol' with journalist Carlos Soares.

Barradas is the artist of the comic book 'O Capital de Marx em Banda Desenhada' (1978), an adaptation of 'Das Kapital' in collaboration with Pedro Rodrigues and Orlando Neves. The book, released in 1978, was one of the most notable comics appearing after the Portuguese revolution of 1974.
Other comics and illustration work by Barrados has appeared in magazines like Pãocomanteiga, &Etc, Expresso, Pé de Cabra, O Bisnau and O Coiso. In 2007, he released another comic album, 'O 13º Passageiro', in cooperation with writer José António Barreiros.
