Fabien Bedouel graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris in 2003, with a specialization in animation. He began his career as a storyboard artist for advertisements and television, and worked with Merwan Chabane on the film 'Clichés de Soirée'. Bedouel and Merwan have also cooperated on the artwork 'L'Or et de Sang', a comic series set during World War I and written by Maurin Defrance and Fabien Nury. It was published by 12bis between 2009 and 2014.
Bedouel also joined writer Laurent-Frédéric Bollée in the creation of 'Un Long Destin de Sang', another World War I comic, and also published by 12bis (2010-2011). He started the thriller series 'OPK' with Matz in 2012, and created the historical fiction series 'Kersten, Médecin d'Himmler' with Pat Perina at Glénat in 2014.
