Rayons Zixes, by Blatte

Librarian Bernard Servais started out creating comics in the 1990s, when he began working for Spirou, making various illustrations and short stories under the name Blatte. Soon he started his 'Rayons Zixes' cartoons in the Balise Cartoons section. He also worked with scenarists Zidrou and Falzar on the series about bad-guy 'Johnny Têtard'. Under the name Morbac, he created 'Les Aventures d'Armand de la Clanche' for publisher Brain Produk.

In 1995, he participated in the comics fanzine Kolleckiv for its first issue in January 1995. In 2011, he contributed graphically with a comic strip relating to current events in El Rios, a supplement to the newspaper Le Soir in the summer of 2011 produced by the publishing house Coiffeurs pour Dames, directed by Olivier Van Vaerenbergh, the former editor in chief of Spirou.
