A. Blondeau was an artist for French illustrated magazines from the early 20th century. He contributed to Le Jeudi de la Jeunesse, L'Illustré National, Mon Copain du Dimanche and Le Petit Soldat de France, all by publisher Tallandier. He also drew for Le Sans Souci (J. Rueff) and L'Illustré (Offenstadt). In the late 19th century, he had drawn for the Images d'Épinal by printmaker Jean-Charles Pellerin.
