Deadworld by Mark Bloodworth
'Deadworld: The Last Siesta'.

Mark Bloodworth is a comic book artist specialized in the horror genre. He began his career in the second half of the 1980s working for Arrow Comics on the urban crime comic book 'Nightstreets' and 'Deadworld'.

In 1991, he was contracted by Marvel Comics to contribute to 'Clive Barker's 'Hellraiser''. Throughout the rest of the decade and into the 2000s, he illustrated many titles, including 'Cheerleaders From Hell', 'Jack The Ripper', 'Raven Chronicles', 'The Ripper Legacy' (from Caliber Comics) and the critically acclaimed 'Abel', written by William Harms (from AiT/Planet Lar).

In 2008, Bloodworth released his 'Midnight Mortuary', an homage to the black & white comic monster magazines of the 1970s. Bloodworth has worked with Shannon Denton, Christopher Long, and Rob Worley on a series of children's books called 'Short Tales' (ABDO Publishing). In 2011, he drew the graphic novel 'Deadworld: The Last Siesta' for IDW.
